UKCLC 2020 will host a selection of workshops on 27th July 2020, the day before the conference. We are calling for workshop proposals related to any theme from the main conference, as well as skill-based topics (e.g. corpus linguistics, reproducible research methods, data visualization, statistics, professional development, gesture analysis, multimodal data analysis, video annotation). The workshops will be 3 hours long, which may be structured as suitable for the topic.

Workshop proposals should contain a maximum 300-word summary of the topic and its importance to cognitive linguistics, as well as brief summaries (2-3 sentences) of the specific contributions of proposed speakers. Please be specific about how you plan to organize the 3 hours.

Proposals – and any questions – should be emailed to Marcus Perlman at m.perlman@bham.ac.uk. The deadline for submission is December 30, 2019.
